Job Description/responsibilities:
Menu & Culinary Leadership
Develops and updates menus and daily specials
Creates and standardizes recipes
Sets plating standards and presentation style
Leads and mentors the culinary team
Assigns stations and roles for service
Work a station on the line during service
Train staff, Monitor food quality
Help with ordering and inventory
Job Requirements:
3–5 years experience in a professional restaurant kitchen
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role (lead cook, sous, or KM)
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and workflow
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of food cost, inventory, and waste control
Ability to read, follow, and enforce recipes and SOPs
Strong communication skills with FOH and BOH
Ability to give clear direction and remain calm under pressure
