Cook Job Description/responsibilities

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times

  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner

  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

  • Stock and maintain designated food station(s)

  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed


Cafeteria Attendant Description/responsibilities

As a Cafeteria Attendant, you would be responsible for providing food and beverage service to team members in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide food and beverage service to team members including, but not limited to, setting up and replenishing the food line, salad bar and additional food and beverage stations

  • Set up and maintain food line and salad bar in a timely manner

  • Maintain cleanliness of entire cafeteria area to include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, etc.

  • Performs pre-meal and post-meal side work including, but not limited to, salad bar preparation and dessert preparation

  • Obtain and maintain supplies from kitchen to set up the cafeteria during scheduled hours of service

  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations


Food and Beverage Manager Description/responsibilities

This position directs and organizes the activities of 4 major outlets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

  • Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
