February 2022 Newsletter

Dear CIL Students,

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Culinary Institute Lenotre has been approved to begin offering its degree-seeking students in Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hotel & Restaurant Management as Hybrid Programs.

First and foremost, this is a Hybrid Education Model. That means that it includes both In-Person and Online courses within each program. Existing, as well as prospective students, enrolled in these Associate of Applied Science Programs will follow the Hybrid Education Model. The programs and its associated courses are defined in the new catalog Volume XIV which will be available on our website very soon.

We will remain prudent in deploying with a phased approach by first moving toward the hybrid model with our HRM Associates Degree beginning March 14, 2022. This will allow us to work out any needed adjustments with training, technology, and student-focused outcomes, which will yield a higher quality education and student experience. The Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts will begin as Hybrid Programs on May 23, 2022.

It is our intent to provide our students with the flexibility needed to support their education-work-life balance while retaining the highest level of Higher Education experience at the Lenotre Culinary Institute.

We welcome your questions and encourage you to speak with your academic leadership, instructors, and staff familiar with these new changes. It is our hope that you are excited as we are about this new offering and look forward to the academic journey with you.
