Job Description:
Seeking a skilled and energetic Hibachi Cook to join our team in high volume, fast paced, culinary environment. This role requires strong cooking abilities, multitasking skills, and the ability to deliver an engaging dining experience while maintaining efficiency in bold food.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook variety of hibachi and cajun/asian inspired soul food cuisine on flat grill and stove top
Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and speed
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
Set up, stock, prep, and maintain a clean and organized cooking station
Monitor food inventory and communicate supplies needed to management in a timely fashion
Collaborate with front house and maintain effective communication throughout shifts
Customize meals based on customer preferences and dietary needs
Requirements:
Previous experience as a hibachi cook, line cook, or grill cook preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and time-management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
Ability to stand for long periods and handle high-heat cooking equipment
