Job description/responsibilities:
The Lead Culinary Arts Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and educational cooking classes to a diverse range of participants. The Culinary Arts Instructor will have a strong culinary background, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for promoting healthy and culturally relevant cooking practices. Design and organize the menu and recipes for the class Teach hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in instruction. *Assure class is set up and ready with all need ingredients and equipment being used 30-45 minutes prior to class start.
Job requirements:
Must be able to pass Federal & State background check. Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification. Proven ability to teach and communicate effectively with both adults and children. Proven experience as a chef, culinary instructor, or in a related culinary role. Experience in both professional kitchens and teaching environments is highly valued.
Any Additional Information?
Most cooking classes are usually held in the afternoons around 5pm. We do not offer classes on Fridays and Saturdays.
