Culinary Institute Lenotre in Partnership with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center: Successful Blood Drive with 17 Units Donated
On March 21, 2023, Culinary Institute Lenotre, in partnership with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, held a blood drive on their Houston campus. The event was a success, with 17 units of blood donated by students, faculty, and staff.
The Culinary Institute Lenotre is proud to have partnered with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to help save lives. Blood drives are essential to ensuring that there is a steady supply of blood available for patients who need it. One blood donation can potentially save up to three lives, and the 17 units of blood donated at the Culinary Institute Lenotre's blood drive could potentially save up to 51 lives.
The blood drive was open to all students, faculty, and staff of the Culinary Institute Lenotre. The event was well-received, and participants were excited to have the opportunity to give back to their community in such a meaningful way. Donors were asked to fill out a questionnaire to determine their eligibility to donate blood, and all safety protocols were followed to ensure that the donation process was safe and comfortable for everyone involved.
