Brix Cellars is a privately owned, high volume, fine dining restaurant in Northwest Houston. We offer our guests an exceptional wine list, hand-crafted cocktails, seasonal menu, and superior service. We are currently seeking line cooks to join our team of skilled kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and respectful with a positive attitude, sense of urgency, and team player mindset.
Commitment to teamwork, desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Speaks and Reads English
Must have Food Handlers Certificate or be able to obtain the certificate
Good knife skills
Ability to work cleanly and efficiently
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Accountability for assigned stations and be able to wear multiple hats
Follows proper plate presentation
Follow cooking procedures, recipes, shelf life, product quality and inventory rotation (FIFO, Labeling, and Dating)
Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing duties.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Weekend and Evening availability is required
