Job Title: Line Cook

Provide kitchen support to the Head Cook in a butcher shop setting.
Follow recipes for marinades and stuffing's to create a stuffed chicken breast, bacon-wrapped poppers, etc. for the butcher department.
Work the deli counter and operate a slicer to provide excellent customer service for sliced meats/cheeses.
Assemble specialty deli sandwiches with urgency for the lunch crowd.
Properly sanitize kitchen and/or deli workspace.
Advanced deli preparations for deli sandwiches.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Food Handlers Certification.
Ability to work weekends and 2 weeks leading up to the holidays.
Withstand temperatures as low as 30 degrees for a minimum of 2 hours.
Operate and properly maintain a deli slicer, mixer, grill, oven and range
Ability to multi-task and clean as you go.
Follow recipes and directions.
Ability to stand for a minimum of 6 hours.
We are a butcher shop with reasonable hours for family life and a work-life balance.
We are closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Day, Day after Christmas, Easter, and New Year’s Day.
We provide flexibility with the schedule for students. Work shifts start as early as 7am while the latest shift ends at 8pm except for the holiday season when extended hours are required.
