Smarter HR Solutions is looking to hire an individual who has great customer service, is reliable, and a self-starter for our Cook position.
Prepares food in accordance with standardized recipes and instructions of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
This position is located in the Houston area and is in a hospital setting
Willing to undergo a Background Screening.
Must be able to present proof of vaccination for the following: MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Influenza, Covid-19, and a TB Skin Test.
Education: High School/GED Preferred or Three years of institutional cooking experience.
License & Certifications: Food Handlers Certification.
Work Experience: 2 years in food preparation. High-volume food preparation preferred.
Equipment Operated: Oven, Steam Cookers, Meat Slicer, Deep Fat Fryer, and Grill
Communication skills: Writing/Composing (Correspondence/Reports)
Other Skills: Math
